MISS HENRETTY
DIES HERE FROM
COMPLICATIONS
Strasburg, Va. December 19 -- miss Anne Elizabeth Henretty, who for the
past two years has been making her home with her brother in law and
sister Mr. & Mrs. J. M. Mitchell of Strasburg Junction, died Wednesday
night, December 16, in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Her death occurred
at 11o'clock and was caused by a complication of diseases following as
operation.
The deceased was born near Strasburg on February 4, 1877, and had
reached the age of forty-eight years, ten months and twelve days. She
was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Ellen Lichliter Henretty.
Following the death of her parents, she lived for a number of years
with brothers and sisters in Ohio, and two years ago came to Strasburg
Junction to make her home with Mrs. Michell.
She was a consistent member of the Strasburg Christian church, and
was respected by all who knew her. She had many friends who were
deeply grieved to learn of her death.
Miss Henretty is survived by three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Mitchell, of
Strasburg Junction: Mrs. Lorae Sturling of Avery, Ohio: Mrs. Branche
Gordon, of Fostoria, Ohio, and by six brothers, William F. Henretty
of Gassaway, W. Va., J. M. and G. C. Henretty of Tiffin, Ohio: A. L.
Henretty of Oldport, Ohio: Jacob Henretty of Avery, Ohio, and T. E.
Henretty of Tiffin, Mich.
Due to the fact that several of her brothers and sisters expect to be
here for the funeral, and that they have not yet been heard from as to
when they will arrive, funeral arrangements have not yet been competed.
Funeral services will probably be held from the Christian Church, with
interment in the Riverview cemetery.
