Strowbridge, Cecil Alden {I0157} (b. 3 SEP 1897, d. 7 OCT 1954)
Note: Cecil enlisted on Jun 10 1917 at Xenia, Ohio to fight in the first World War. After the war, he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad as a telegrapher and was a stationary engineer. He served under Sheriff George P. Hinkle as his Chief Deputy.

Sr, Wilbur Roy Strowbridge {I0159} (b. 19 AUG 1908, d. 2 APR 1980)
Note: He was in France and Germany with the 236 General Hospital as a barber. He played pool in exhibition and excelled over such notables as Willie Hoppe, New York Fats, and Masconi. The family lived in Xenia and then moved to Dayton Ohio. In 1938, Wilbur and his father, John purchased fifteen acres in Vandalia, Ohio. The family enjoyed the farm with John in command. Wilbur moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1954 where he lived until his death. Thelma resides in Troy, Ohio.

Strowbridge, Cecil Leroy {I0163} (b. 27 OCT 1921, d. ?)
Note: He attended school in Xenia, graduating in 1941. On September 21 1942, Leroy was inducted into the Army in Columbus, Ohio. This was World War II. His grade was T/4 and he was a part of CB I (China, Burma< India). After the war, he was employed by Wright Patterson Air Force Base until Retirement. He served on the planning board to reconstruct Xenia after "The Tornado" of 1974 destroyed the area. Leroy resides in his Boyhood home in Xenia, Ohio. He carries the countenance of the tradition. As his grandfather would say, "Yes, indeedy".
