The Death Record
----------------

David Isaac Henretta, 85, died Wednesday morning
at his home near Zoar. A native of Woodstock, Va., he
had resided in Jefferson County the past 60 years. He was
a son of James Henretta, a native of Ireland, and followed
the occupation of farming. He married Miss Annie Voorhees,
of Darkesville, Berkeley county, who preceded him in death
36 years ago. He was a member of the Charles Town Baptist
Church. He is survived by four sons and four daughters. The
funeral will be held Friday morning in Charles Town and
interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown.

David I. Henretta.
------------------
Funeral services for David Issac Henretta, 85 years old,
were held at 10 o'clock this morning in Strider's funeral chapel
by the Rev. Goodwin Frazer, Mr. Henretta's pastor. The body
was taken to Shepherdstown for burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Henretta died at his home near Zoar at 6 o'clock Wednesday
morning. A native of Shenandoah County, Va., Mr. Henretta came
to this county 60 years ago, the greater part of the time since, has
been engaged in farming near Zoar. His wife, who was Miss Annie
Vorhees, of Darksville, W.Va., died many years ago.
Surviving are four sons: William M. Henretta, at home; S. V. and
E. H. Henretta, Martinsburg; E. B. Henretta, Hagerstown, Md.; four
daughters, Mrs. Dan ASocks, Hagerstown; Mrs. Laura Lord, Mrs.
Jesse Lord, Berkeley county; and Mrs. Hester Lord, Michigan.
