Dick, Uriah {I2817} (b. ABT 1815, d. 26 MAR 1892)
Note: Uriah was involved in a family argument about inheritances and some time around 1857 gathered his family around him and left Virginia for Indiana, as cousin Gary Edwards says Uriah got the money about $1,000 and Elijah got the land.
Uriah is buried in the Asbury Cemetery outside Montpelier, Indiana. Sarah Jane, his second wife, is buried in the same cemetery but next to her first husband Harvey Kitterman.

Note: Sometime during the late 1840's after the death of her sister Lydia (Trowbridge) Kerns, Ocie took care of her brother-in-law, George Kerns Sr. (1772-1854) until he passed away. George made provision for Ocie in his will, she used her maiden name on the 1850 U. S. Census for Frederick County. She was listed with George Kerns Sr. Head of house.

Note: Little in known about Isaac Dick at this time
I found 2 Isaac Dick's on the 1840 Frederick County census:
Isaac Dick: No. 4 (66) page 135:
males: 1, under 5; 1, (5 to 10); 1, (30 to 40)
Females: 1, under 5; 1, (5 to 10); 1, (20 to 30)
Isaac Dick: No. 4 (59) page 128:
males: 1, (30 to 40)
Females: 1, under 5; 1, (20 to 30)
Which one that is the Isaac here I'm not sure, the first listed was in a neighborhood with familiar names.

Title: 1850 censusData:
Text: Her age was recorder on the 1850 census as 30 but she was married in 1832, this would have made her 12 years of age when married. I'm thinking she was more like 20 when married giving her birth date as 1812.
