Mrs. Henretty Died Today in Hospital
Mrs. Laura Virginia Henretty, age 70, Widow of the late Joseph Henretty of Halltown, died in the Charles Town General Hospital, this morning where she had been a patient for only two days, although in ill health for some time. She has been at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. S. Bloom, Ranson, since the first of the year.
Born in Clarke County, Va., she was a daughter of the late George S. and Jennie Lloyd Dunn of that county. She was a member of the Charles Town Presbyterian Church.
Her survivors include one son, Guy Henretty at he home in Halltown, and two daughters, Mrs. O. S. Bloom of Ranson and Mrs. Edgar Taylor of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Zeis of Tiffin, Ohio, and Mrs. Charles James of Ranson; two brothers, John S. Dunn of Keyser, W. Va., and William Lloyd Dunn of Charles Town. Also surviving are two grandsons.
The remains will be removed from the Melvin T. Strider Company Funeral Home on Friday to the home in Halltown.
Funeral services will be held at the Halltown Preysbyterian Church on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM., with her pastor, the Rev. C. Lloyd Arehart in charge.
Interment will be at Edge Hill Cemetery.

Last Will and Testament of Guy M. Henretty

Record of Wills
I, Guy M. Henretty, being of sound mind and disposing memory, in view of the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life hereby make and declare this to be my last will and Testament, herby revoking all prior wills made by me at any time.
(1.) I devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Bertha L. Henretty, all of my property both real and personal, in fee simple, to be disposed of by her as she may see fit.
(2.) I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate.
(3.) I herby constitute and appoint my said wife Executrix of my Estate and desire that she be permitted to qualify as such without surety on her bond.

Henretty, late of Jefferson County, West Virginia was this day, February 21st, 1975, offered for probate in said office, and it appearing that all of the attesting witnesses thereto, i. E., Mark B. Wetzel, Frank D. Beckwith and Frank J. Beckwith, have since departed this life, the signature of Mark B. Wetzel is this day in said office, fully proved by Shirley M. Hunt and Donald S. Smith, two competent, disinterested witnesses, familiar with the handwriting of the said Mark B. Wetzel, who made oath in due form of law, that to the best of their knowledge and belief the name of Mark B. Wetzel signed as an attesting witness as aforesaid, is his genuine signature; and the signature of Frank J. Beckwith is this day in said office fully proved by Shirley M. Hunt and Donald S. Smith, two competent, disinterested witnesses, familiar with the handwriting of the said Frank J. Beckwith, who made oath in due form of law, that to the best of their knowledge and belief the name of Frank J. Beckwith signed as an attesting witness as aforesaid, is his genuine signature.
Thereupon, it is ordered that said writing be recorded as and for the Last Will and Testament of Guy M. Henretty, deceased.

Mrs. Carter Henretty
Mrs. Minnie Belle Henretty, 80, died yesterday
morning at the home of her son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. John G. Gardner of Gaylord.
She was born in Clarke County, a daughter of the
late Alexander and Mary Frances Willingham Homar.
She was twice married, first to John J. Gardner and
then to Carter Henretty. Both husbands preceded her
in death.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. John Jenkins
of Berryville, Mr. gardner, Mrs. Mary G. Levi and Horace
M. Gardner of Berryville and Howard Gardner of Millwood;
16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.
Clarence Grubbs of Berryville and a brother, Thomas Homar
of this city.
The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
(DST) at the John H. Enders Funeral Home in Berryville by
the Rev. Earl Lewis, pastor of the Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Edgewood(sic) Cemetery, Charles Town.
Friends and relatives may call at the John H. Enders
Funeral home in Berryville.
