Berkeley Co. - farmer - married Harriet Ann
Mason - 4 sons, 3 dau. survive. Children:
Peter, Samuel, Abijah, Raymond, Mrs. May Lehew,
Mrs. Rose Yost and Miss Nettie Dick. A half Brother,
Richard M. resides near Martinsburg

I, J.W. Dick, being of sound mind and disposing memory and wishing
to dispose of the earthly possession wherewith God has seen fit to bless me do hereby
make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.
First: It is my wish and I so Direct that as soon after my death
as practicable my executrix, hereafter names, shall pay whatever just debts, if any
are owing by me at that time and my funeral expenses out of my estate.
Second: I hereby will, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife,
Harriett A. Dick, all of my estate of whatever nature, real, personal and mixed
whatever located to be her own absolutely in fee simple.
Third: I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife, Harriett A.
Dick executrix under this will and direct that no bond be required of her.
In witness whereof the said J.W. Dick has hereunto subscribed his hand, this 7th
day of February, 1924.

at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as

This day the within paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of
J.W. Dick. deceased. was produced in this office in vacation and offered for probate.
Whereupon came C.W. Luttrell, the subscribing witnesses thereto
who, first being duly sworn, did depose and say that the testator J.W. Dick, signed his
name to the within paper writing as and for his signature to his last will and testament
in their presence and that they, in his presence, at his request and in the presence of
each other, subscribed their names as witnesses thereto, that the testor was at that time,
over the age of twenty one years, of sound mind and memory and that he is now deceased.
Whereupon the within paper writing is admitted to probate and ordered to be
recorded as the true, last will and testament of J. W. Dick, deceased.
Teste: Paul H. Martin, Clerk, County Court, Berkeley County, West Va.

I, Paul H. Martin, Clerk of the County Court of the County aforesaid, do
hereby certify that the attached is a true accurate and complete copy of the will of J.W.
